The Call for Abstracts is open for the 2025 ACGME Annual Educational Conference! Submit a research or innovation abstract to be showcased at the largest gathering of graduate medical education (GME) professionals in the world!
Join thousands of other GME specialists to learn, share, and network at the 2025 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, which will be held 20-22 February 2025 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, US. This is a unique opportunity for members of the GME community to present their research or innovation to a focused audience eager to learn. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters at the conference.
Over the years, international GME scholars have contributed greatly to the learning at the Annual Educational Conference through poster presentations. At the 2024 event, posters presented by GME professionals from institutions outside of the US accounted for 15 percent of the total number of posters. Some of the international highlights from 2024 posters include:
- “Improving the quality of individual supervision: The Psychiatry Residents' Experience” (Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar)
- “Assessment of Patients’ Perception of Physicians’ Communication Skills: 15 Minutes Is What It Takes” (The Aga Khan University, Pakistan)
- “The Application and Impact of ChatGPT in Medical Education: A Scoping Review” (Peking University Third Hospital, China)
- “Impact of the Economic Crisis, COVID-19, and the Beirut Explosion on Ophthalmology Training in Lebanon” (American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanon)
- “Dealing with the Extraordinary: How Residents’ Training Experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic Support Professional Identity Formation” (National University Hospital, Singapore; ACGME International; Khalifa University College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE)
The Call for Abstracts will close on Thursday, 26 September 2024, so do not delay in submitting an abstract soon!
