Virtual Networking Session for GME Researchers

ACGME-I will host a virtual meeting of graduate medical education (GME) researchers to discuss conducting qualitative research and to foster collaboration with dedicated networking sessions.

The virtual session will be held on Wednesday, 11 December at the following times:

  • 6:00 a.m. Guatemala
  • 7:00 a.m. Haiti
  • 2:00 p.m. Lebanon
  • 3:00 p.m. Jordan, Kenya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia
  • 4:00 p.m. Oman, United Arab Emirates
  • 5:00 p.m. Pakistan
  • 7:00 p.m. Vietnam
  • 8:00 p.m. Singapore

The group will discuss conducting qualitative research with a short presentation by ACGME researcher and Director, Resident Experience, Well-Being, and Milestones Nick Yaghmour, and based on an article in the August 2024 issue of The Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME) entitled, “Common Pitfalls to Avoid in Qualitative Submissions to JGME.”

The group will then split into areas of interest to network, get feedback on their medical education research ideas, and meet other international medical education researchers. To plan effectively for the discussion groups, registration for the meeting is required. The registration form is available here.
